GraceMar’s corporate philosophy is that children deserve quality. Care is taken in all aspects of the productions. The soundtracks feature vivid sound effects, lively music, and unique character voices. Professional voice-over talent is used for the characters in each story. Child actors and actresses are used rather than having adults pretending to be children. A professional artist has captured Gracie’s unusual features in both realistic and imaginative scenes. There are currently three programs and one activity in the series with a fourth program and an activity book planned for the holiday season of 2007. Gracie also is co-star in the award-winning children’s safety video "Be Cool—Play it Safe". GraceMar is located in Eugene, Oregon. Maryl adopted Gracie from the Greenhill Humane Society in 1995. GraceMar Productions, Inc. was incorporated in July of 1997. The purpose of GraceMar is to produce high-quality children’s books with accompanying CDs. The name GraceMar comes from Grace, star of GRACIE’S GREAT ADVENTURES, and Maryl, her owner and the author of the series. Grace is a black labrador and shar-pei mix dog. The GRACIE’S GREAT ADVENTURES series is being enjoyed by children around the world.
