Maryl Barker - the author
|
Author me executive producer Maryl Barker has been writing books for over twenty years. She co-founded and helped build a successful international production and training company specializing in emergency medical training. GRACIE’S GREAT ADVENTURES is her first series of children’s books and CDs. The series is based on the real and imaginary adventures of Maryl’s Lab/Shar-pei mix, Gracie. Maryl conceives the ideas for each book and writes the stories. She works directly with artist, musician, and voice talent to produce the stories. She enjoys the challenge of incorporating humor and music with educational information to entertain and teach young children.
Maryl says, “Gracie loves children and they love her. It seemed a natural way to share that love by creating these book and CD programs."
